    I would recomend the bosch blue - £99 at screwfix at the mo: http://www.screwfix.com/p/bosch-2kg-sds-drill-gbh2000-240v/87453 its not massively powerfull but more than good enough for most DIY and is very leight and easy to handle, perfect for stripping tiles and drilling holes in brick...

    Well having done some research, bosch plunge saw with track can be had for £360, the makita and dewalt can be had for £300 all with very similar specs. The cost of the replacement track is about £40 for the makita and dewalt and £80 for the bosch. No brainer really - makita or dewalt. now...

    why would you need a gap? I would of thought if you put a vapour barrier both sides of the insulation it would be fine. Why are you insulating it? it pretty pointless unless you are heating it
