Woops! Still can't get the hang of how to insert a photo!!

Here is a photo of the Aerjec Installation NB I want to know if it has been installed properly. If not what effect will it have as currently installed

Sometimes, when the central heating starts up, there is a noise coming from the radiators which sounds as if there were small nails or similar rattling around . This only lasts for a few seconds, presumably when the pump starts up. It happens more early in the morning when the house is warming...

But, acccording to the brochures, they are programmable stats, only more "intelligent".

Are they worth having? Do they do what they say on the tin?? Which is the best one?

Thanks for all the comments, which are split about 50-50 between change now or later. I think I will hope for the best and wait until next year.

My system is fitted with a Myson Aerjec II de-aerator and I am concerned that it has not been installed correctly. It looks like this: To loft | __|________...

I moved house in January. When I had the survey done, I was told that the boiler (Apollo Fanfare 30/50S) was very old and would need replacing soon. The house is 18 years old so it is possibly the original boiler. My question is: should I get the job done now or wait until it has broken down...
