    combined feed and vent pipe partly in plastic???

    Why are they rubbish? It does away with the blocked cold feed problem. Also a vast amount of expansion takes place in the cold feed pipe anyway so Y not just use one?

    If everything worked fine then it's probably something U've done. Can U put a pic on here? I'm guessing that it's an airlock. Does any of the pipes rise to the new position? A pic would be helpfull.

    A good BG Job.

    A couple of pics of an installation by BG. We were called to carry out a powerflush. Elbow off top of cylinder pipe bent down and gate valve. Nice. Needless to say we altered the pipe to rise instead of fall and removed the gate valve. Quality assured???

    How to Open Close Coupled Cistern

    oh me sir I know this one. Lift the buttons out 1st then there's a big screw inside. Undo that and hey presto. They are srcewed down to stop people putting bleach blocks in them, they foul up the workings. If the washer on you flush mechanism is bowed slightly take it off and turn it over.

    Get them to check the thermostatic valve is on the right way round. :wink:

    Don't ferget to put an non switched spur on the electric supply. You don't want to switch it off and find out in the middle of the night. :p

    Don't bother with the fenox stuff get some kamco fx2. It's a powerfull descaller. It works a treat. and it's cheaper.

    If the pipes are notched into the joists upstairs then clipping them will probly make them noisier.

    Installed a nice new 40CDi on November the 23rd last year, I know the date because it's me b'day. Yesterday customer calls to say it's displaying temp in boiler then alternating to SE. Called WB they inform me that SE is code for service. The boiler is only 6 moths old. Even if it's been on 24...

    Kamco. U must be loaded. There chemicals are good stuff tho. Try one of these It's what I've got after me Kamco was stolen. It's just as good and half the price...

    Alpha CB28

    I've been to look at one today and the red light flashes then the yellow light flashes. This is the Primary Pressure Switch at fault, as it has system pressure. Does anyone have a schematic of one or a link to one so I can easily locate it? As the book of words is not on site. Many thanks.
