    VW Transporter blower dying out

Hi, I have a VW Transporter Van (08). In the last few days every time I turn on the heater/blower, it runs for about 2/3 minutes then slowly dies out. When it dies, I turn it off for 5/10 minutes then when I turn it back on it repeats the procedure, on for a few minutes then dies. Does anyone...

    Is it possible

Big snoopy just gave you the answer. Maybe if he wrote it in broken English you might understand it.

    Vaillant 937 piped up backwards

Ok, this is going to sound like a strange one. But I would absolutely love a straight forward yes/no answer. If a Vaillant 937 is piped up with cold mains going up the hot and the hot coming out where the cold mains should go in, I obviously know it won't operate correctly, but could it cause...

    Gas Safe required?

They are completely lying to you or they are extremely incompetent. Either way, get rid of them. They sound like cowboys.

Connecting to an existing PolyPipe screwed access cap

Unscrew the cap, use a hacksaw blade (taken out of the saw) and cut one line through the wall if the access cap but not as far as the wall of the tee. Then use a flat screwdriver to prize it out. Should come out quite easily.

    size of trac pipe

Give it up mate. No ones going to tell you what you want to hear. Get a proper gas fitter/company to come and quote and do the works. There are plenty of good ones about.

    water defying gravity

Have you removed the bath panel? You may have a leak under there which is bad enough to soak the carpet and boards but not bad enough to have made it through to downstairs yet. I doubt the leak would be coming from anywhere below the boards if they are soaked and ceiling below is dry. If not...

    PRV's plumbing 'nightmare'

You have 2 main options really. Either run a new dedicated cold supply from the tank in your loft to the shower so you have equal incoming pressures both suitable for the integral pump. Or, if that's too disruptive, change your current shower for a Venturi shower. The main one I know of is...

    Heating Controls

Just one two port valve, I only have one heating zone, no cylinder coil or second zone. Do the wiring diagrams which come with the valve and programmer not have the boiler in the equation? This is the bit I'm unsure of.

    Heating Controls

I'm not cutting into it. I will be putting the zone valve after the isolators I am working from. And the system is owned by my customer (they own and pay the bills for the whole block if flats)

    Heating Controls

Hello, I am working in a flat with communal heating from a large boiler which does the whole block. I currently have 22mm flow and returns in the flat I'm in with isolators so I can work off of them. The customers wants a programmable room stat to set on/off times and obviously gauge the...
