The wall is not great for painting on so that's why I was looking at paper or tiles

We had removed woodchip from the wall as i was told it holds the moisture more if this is true or not am not sure. Do you have to use bathroom paint and wallpaper or will normal stuff be ok. Also with the roof am i best to prime and then paint with a bathroom white paint Chris

Hi Received my felt back gripper rods today should I use sample of carpet to measure gripper from wall when sticking. Some tell me 5mm others say 10mm for felt back.

Can anyone also suggest what am i best to use to level the floor where the tiles came up. Should i use a self level compound in this area or just cement mix. Can i use a ready mixed concreat for this? Chris

Sorry it was a typo, Yep we are on first floor flat and this is the sliding door that go's onto our balconey. All i did was remove the small bits of lose cement then re filled the dust free holes. I did not put anything else down Chris

Cheers, As you can see I have fixed the holes and removed all the lose cement which came up right near the edge of the upvc door. Only issue I have is all the patch work of cement seems to have dried fine apart from a small bit abour 4" wide near the centre of the door. It has a wet look...
