Hi all, can anyone tell me what is the best method for filling cracks in a ceiling, i did some and used one time filler, sands down great but cracks have come back a week later, caulk seems to leave a line, fine filler is good but tends to leave a mound. Any advice would be much appreciated :?

Hi Can i use crown garage floor paint on brickwork, it is already coated red, i asume with tile paint?

I was going to use an oil based undercoat after waterbased primer, would that make any difference?

Is it ok to use acrylic primer undercoat on facia boards or is it better to use an oil based primer, they have been previousley painted but is a bit flaky, and should i use dulux weather shield gloss or is normal dulux gloss ok for outside? thx

on closer inspection the spindles have a wax feel to them, can anyone advise on me on what is the best way of applying a finish to them. thx

Hi All ive got to coat some staircase spindles, they are already stained with what looks like walnut, should i coat them with a walnut stain, or just a clear varnish?

wouldn't white caulk colour with the pine stain tho?

The woodwork has had a coat of pine stain, so its ok to use caulk for the gaps?
