I thought it had something to do with a virus. I was rather curious than worried because computer seems to be running ok and Microsoft Security Essentials never picks anything up. It's the same on my Dad's side as well.

I'm having a problem updatiing my Microsoft Security Essentials. On the desktop PC the green bar goes so far then goes back to Virus and spyware definition Last updated 2 days ago. On the laptop the green bar completed but still says Last Updated 2 days ago. Thanks.

Just to let you know the conclusion. Uncle has just got his computer back and it turns out it was a Power Supply Pack . It also used to make a funny noise when starting it up but that has gone. So he's happy it's back from the dead. lol.

Hi When I open Task Manager I have no tabs at the top of the window or the minimise, close button. The only way I can close task manager is to go into the icon tray and right click and click close. Don't know if that makes any sense. Thanks.
