Hi, Just bought a house with a tiny tiny almost pointless hallway. I would like to knock the wall down to remove the hallway but I was surprised to find breeze blocks behind the plasterboard when i cut a small hole. Can anyone advise if they think this is a supporting wall? Wall to be...

Close Coupled Toilets with large gap between pan and wall

Hi, I have 3 toilets with large boxed in pipes running behind. The box sticks out about 200mm. Is there a close coupled style toilet on the market that would fit? I really don't fancy building a box at the back of the toilet - think it looks messy. WP_20170922_13_33_53_Pro by SkipFeeney...

Is 3-4 Bar water pressure adequate to run a dishwasher?

Its 4 bar static. Originally when we first had the problem after it had been installed the engineer moved the dishwasher forward out of the cabinet and it worked a lot better. We thought it was because the water connection was directly under the dishwasher so the supply pipe was tightly...

Would you say its the dishwasher then or could it still be something on the supply side?

Is 3-4 Bar water pressure adequate to run a dishwasher?

Hi, We have an ongoing issue with our Dishwasher and the engineers seem to think it is our plumbing. We are regularly getting an error - E2 - Water Inlet Malfunction Error. We always make sure we don't run taps when the Dishwasher is on, but still in about 30% of times we get this error...

Dishwasher Error E2 - Water Inlet Malfunction

Hi, I have recently had a new kitchen fitted and a dishwasher for the first time. The dishwasher didn't work and always displayed error "E2 - Water Inlet Malfunction" during a cycle. So I called Argos out, and the engineer believed it was the hose connection to the dishwasher, not the...

Kitchen Plinth - distance / depth from cabinet front?

Hi, I am preparing my kitchen floor (18mm Plywood for tiling) ready for the kitchen to be fitted. I need to work out where the Plinth will come to roughly as I don't want the plywood going beyond the plinth. This is on the island, which has back to back cabinets of 60cm and 30cm. See plan...
