I hope this is the correct section for my questions. We have two adjoining bedrooms each with a built in wardrobe in the dividing wall area. My wife wants both wardrobes to be in one bedroom with sliding doors fitted. I have removed the door of one robe and the surrounding trim and frame. The...

    Arc for curved path

I'm redesigning the garden to "low maintenance" and want to incorporate a curved path. I have taken a string line to my boundary fence to draw the arc but the result is too curved. How can I scribe a larger radius arc without having the space for the centre point?

    Replacing shed floor

My neighbour planted silver birch trees adjacent to my 8' x 6' shed and the roots eventually pushed up to the shed floor and it is all rotten. The lower shiplap panels are also rotten. Is there any way I can rescue my shed. BTW the trees are long gone. Thanks Jim

    Decking support posts?

Thanks for your quick reply Thermo. So probably about 20 posts? Do I have to relate the spacing to the overall joist spacing, say multiples of 450mm? This is the area. Jim
