My neighbour planted silver birch trees adjacent to my 8' x 6' shed and the roots eventually pushed up to the shed floor and it is all rotten. The lower shiplap panels are also rotten.

Is there any way I can rescue my shed.
BTW the trees are long gone.

Thanks
Jim

Hi deluks
sorry for delay replying - I've been in hospitl and just got out today.

I'm assuming that the floor is now in contact with the soil by the treee roots raising the level.

Thanks.

Hope you're feeling better.

What I meant was, does the shed sit on bricks/slabs/blocks, or was it just sitting on the earth? Obviously a new floor in the form of osb or exterior plywood, but the shiplap is only worth replacing if the timber frame of the shed is intact. Otherwise you should replace these too. Is it an old shed? How is the roof etc?
