    Extension

Starting to think about an extension across the back of my bungalow. Think it would fall under Permitted Development. I would like to get some idea of costing in the first instance to see if it will come within my budget :( What is the best way of going about this as I would hate to waste...

Many thanks for that Crank - I presumed the threshold would be aluminium sort. They didn't say anything when we said to have the grey frame. Hopefully they will come next week and touch it up.

    composite door

Had a composite front door and side panel fitted on Wednesday. The frame is anthracite grey which I paid an extra £100 for. The threshold has several scratches and is white where the paint has come off. The company want to fill them in with a 'pen'. Does anyone know if this is the usual way...

    Extension

Thanks Tom You wouldn't have any rough guide as to how much would you? I would like to get some rough guide on what it would cost before I take it any further. It will be kitchen / diner as open plan as can be done due to size (not sure if will need any pillar/s)

    composite doors

Ready to replace our front door. Thinking of composite one. Are Eurocell quality ok? After bit of research on internet I see a lot of different firms doing same styles but at varying prices and can't tell what the difference is. Eurocell is local to me and recommend a fitter. Opinions...

    Gravel

Thanks David. I hadn't thought about the delivery cost. Even though Wickes belong to TP they charge vastly different prices! TP will deliver anything over £50 exc VAT for free but they charge more per bag (£50.40 inc) All swings and roundabouts just to confuse us

    Gravel

Just looking on-line for Jumbo bags of gravel at Wickes and TravisPerkins. Neither give amount in bags but quite a difference in price. Does anyone know if they are same size and therefore Wickes are better value? Many thanks
