    How to weigh 0.12 grams?

A set of hi-fi cartridge scales would measure to 0.1g. Sjort of buying scales you could make a solution or suspension of 12g in 100ml and dispense 10ml with a dosing spoon from the pharmacist.

Central heating sludge filters, auto bypass v/v, filters?

Aye, I could fit the bypass v/v but finding somewhere for the filter to go I'd leave to a plumber as I'd rather be above floor level in my place since it's so cramped underfloor.

best methods to avoid airlocks when filling C/H.

Motorised valves. They have a manual lever on them. Pull that back and secure into a notch in the valve casing to keep the valve open. Depending what type of system you have and the number of radiator circuits there will be one to a few.

    Liabilty for sequential errors

Central heating installer installed a Y plan GCH system in 1980s. Used T&E for the Cyl stat with the CPC for the SAT of the cyl stat. (this was fairly common bad practice of heating installers in LA grant installations) Bathroom installer extends cables for GCH supply and cyl stat to wiring...

Had a new bathroom installed last year. The joists had wet rot so the installer made a 'repair' Been under the floor today to see if I could route a cable under the bathroom to repair the CH they borked. They've sawn off the rotten bit overlapped timber the same size and screwed it into...

Yes. Legal working practices weren't the in thing on the site. Obviously those hours were when the project was ongoing, before I was laid off.
