Thank you to all of you for the replies. Have spoken to the electrician and we've agreed to run a new feed for the ovens from the cu.

x2 Single Pyrolytic Ovens on kitchen ring.

Looks like 11.5 amps each then? To return to the original question, is it safe to have these on the kitchen ring with all the other Appliences? Or when cooking Sunday dinner one day while drying the clothes in the tumble dryer are we likely to trip the cu? Thanks for the help, I don't know...

x2 Single Pyrolytic Ovens on kitchen ring.

total connected load of ovens is 3.45kw each. Pyrolytic is the cleaning function where the ovens heat up to 450 degrees centigrade to burn off the grease. Makes them easier to clean.

x2 Single Pyrolytic Ovens on kitchen ring.

I'm just about to have my kitchen refitted. I've had an electrician to come and have a look. He's quoted me £2500 for a rewire. We are after new lights and lots of fiddly bits around the new cupboards. The bit that worries me, is that we want to mount x2 pyrolytic neff ovens away from the...

    Thanks for the advice :-)

Condensation at top of internal soil pipe

Definitely soil stack, there were no fans installed in bathrooms when we moved in 2 years ago. I'm pretty sure it must have been built that way as I wouldn't begin to know how you would get a complete length of soil pipe into the roof space. I would hazard a guess that the majority of the...

Condensation at top of internal soil pipe

I'm after some advice. I have a property with 2 soil stacks; one on each side of the house. Both internal, they run straight from ground level up to the loft with the relevant connections. Once in the loft the 2 soil stacks are joined by a horizontal soil pipe laid across the ceiling joists...

ARE MY drilled and notched floor JOISTS RUINED?? (moved)

I found some of my joists like this, I filled the cutouts with Epoxy and plated the damaged areas. Technically I suppose I should have had it all recalculated....... Bought supplies from this place. http://www.joist-repair.co.uk/notches.htm I'm not affiliated with them in any way, so apologies...

    Wetroom drain ball joint

Just fitted a shower drain in a wetroom floor former made by dallmer, it includes a ball joint for easy installation. Do you have to solvent weld the ball joint or is there a seal in it? Thanks

    Miele Dishwasher f11 drain fault

Spot on! :D New electronic unit and it's working. I checked the relays / fuses on the pcb and they were all good. After that I only got lost in the low voltage micro side of the board, couldn't find the fault. Managed to get hold of a new electronic unit off ebay and it's now good...

    Miele Dishwasher f11 drain fault

Hi I've got a miele g5191 with a f11 drain fill fault. I've done some fault finding as follows. Run quick wash, the machine fills, washes. Appears to have 2 goes at draining then throws fault. I've then triggered the flood switch which operates the drain pump and drains the machine...

    Matt Paint Drying To Fast

I'm going to give that a go, to see if it helps as soon as I can get some decent paint, didn't tilt the lid when I took it off. I'm not sure what the grit is, it's almost like sand, regular shape. I'm 100% sure it's a manufacturing defect. I'll take it back to wickes and try a different...

    Matt Paint Drying To Fast

I'm also having a nightmare with matt emulsion paint at the moment. It dries very quickly. I'm supposed to be decorating the bedroom, started with Dulex one coat matt emulsion, which gave terrible results, patchy and loads of shadows. Dries really fast. Tried a little research and found...

    Lintel inspection??

Thanks for the replies, Static is this a common inspection, can I just get into contact with a builder and have them do it or does it need a specialist? Thanks

    Lintel inspection??

A couple of weeks ago, I noticed some cracking in the outside brick wall of my house. This took the form of diagonal cracks through the mortar only above the lounge window and another vertical crack below the window. I phoned the insurance company who have then assigned a structural...

    New bathroom light.

Thanks for the replies, that's just what I needed to know. Slightly annoyed because I thought changing the light would be a simple job, now I have to position a junction box conveniently in the loft so it can be inspected which means re-wiring. Already have a junction box in the loft from...

    New bathroom light.

Hi, I've just bought a new bathroom light from b+q. Just had a look at the fittings, there's no room for any extra wires apart from the switched live and neutral. Which I'm guessing means using a junction box in the loft. The thing that's really got me baffled is that there are no...

    Upstairs solid (fibre) internal wall

That certainly looks like what I've got. I know I don't like partitions instead of walls  I had plans to fit a thermostatic shower routing the pipes through an internal wall, which I've had to change, I've now got to chase the exterior wall for the pipework for the shower. It's a...
