cheers, am looking at 18mm ply due to matching up to existing 18mm T&G boards at edges, though might do 25mm to be safe - not decided yet!! Was thinking of using BAL products to be honest, tanking it and using Single Part Flexible adhesive everywhere. Any good (i.e. cheap) places to buy...

Cheers, I had seen that though (6mm) but reading some of the information on BAL site etc, seems that walls and floors are different - and some say square and for other use U shaped!! But if its a 6mm square all over thats easier for me!! Saves on another tool cost!

Can someone recommend the correct notch sizes for porcelain tiles (600x300) on plasterboard/ply walls and also for the same tiles (400x400) on plywood flooring? Thanks :wink:

as well as sealing PB with BAL APD, I should also tank shower area with WP1? Is that right - i.e. do both?

is the grout water proof or will the sealer do that for tile and grout area?

Thanks Paul for your advice - its greatly appreciated. So for the ply, its the underside that I should seal, as well as edges - but not the top face that will see the adhesive? And seal with what? Not PVA - I see that is a dirty word on here!! As WBP ply is bonded with water resistant...

Either thickness, I presume I would need to seal the wood before laying adhesive? My understanding is, tank the shower PB area, seal the rest of the PB and wood before any adhesive - is this correct? Any recommendations for the sealant and adhesive (and grout) would be greatly appreciated...

I appreciate the advice, but surely 18mm has to be enough for a small floor area - 25mm seems overkill and would cause a big headache with edges! Plus what with the 10mm tile thickness, there would be a big difference in floor height between this and the bedroom. Do you think if I added more...
