    Hello, I'm putting a wood floor down in my hallway. I need to take some off the bottom of the front door for clearance. The door has no threshold only a concrete step. I have brought a stormguard threshold but this is to wide for the inside of the step having nothing to sit on properly. any ideas?

    Hello, could do with some advice. I'm about to put an Engineered oak floor down in my hallway. I understand there needs to be a 10mm gap at the edge of the boards for expansion. I have removed the skirting where possible but does it matter if there is no gap around the door architraves?

    Hello, I have original quarry tiles(1900's) in my hallway. The tiles had been covered over with bitumen? sheet and carpeted. I would like to put oak wood flooring over the tiles. the tiles don't seem damp. what's the best way to do this?

    Hi, under our hallway carpet there are Quarry tiles which must be original to the house. (Built 1900's). They don't seem Damp, would a damp meter work on tiles. As I'm thinking of laying Quarry tiles anyway I could Re-grout and seal the existing tiles instead of having to remove and dig out?

    Hi, Having a problem with my tv. The red power indicator on the bottom at the right hand side of the screen is just flashing. Sometimes the tv does come on but then switches off again then other times it's fine. has anyone experienced this or any ideas? Craig.
