Just an update, all powered up and defaults loaded. Surprised myself that all worked! no bad wiring! However, I have a problem with the disarming. I can either use my key tag or code to arm the alarm. But went I come back in, it wont take my code and will only disarm with the keytag...

I have all 4 cores but I will only be running a door contact on it with Shunt and EOL. In this case, which should I use?

Thanks for all the help. Going to power up the system for the first time this afternoon and try to set it up. In the bell box, there is jumper for battery. As default it is open. Should I close it before I power up and commission the alarm or once its all working?

I am connecting up a door switch to one of the extra zones on the keypad. Which contacts do I use? A or T, or one from both pairs?

So I fitted the door contacts with 4k7 and 2k2 resistors and installed them. On checking the wiring at the control panel the readings are: door is shut the multimeter reads 2.2 door open reads 6.9 I hope that is correct?

Also, the premier 24 came with a bag od resistors. Can anyone tell me what is what? I have: orange orange red gold= 3k3? red red red gold= 2k2? yellow violet red gold= 4k7? Which 2 should I use to make EOL and Shunt on the Door contacts?

Thanks for that but what if I forget to disarm when I come downstairs in the morning, this will mean an instant arm from the PIR. Is there a way to set the PIR to give a beep from the keypad for say 10 secs to notify me to disarm before Alarm siren?
