I know what you mean and did consider the main wall being painted in a subtle colour to bring out the feature wall. Given its only one wall that will have a loghter colour, keeping it clean wont be too diffucult. The ceiling and skating boards are subtle colour too. Keep these as they are or...

Thanks fo ryour reply. The carpet has only been in for about 6 months so not keen on the idea of pulling it up to remove the paint from the post and stringer. I just wanted to break the colour up a little and it feels as there is too much white on the side of the banninster...

I was planning on leaving the rest white but just the three panels would have been painted the same colour as the other side(dark brown) to break it up a little...

Hi, Its the lower floor, and dont really want to pull the carpet/floor boards up. There doesnt seem to be much slack in the wires. Was thinking more of extended the wires and putting in some trunking to hide the wires unless there is a better way of doing it? Regards
