If this is the upper floor and you have open access in the loft you could simply extend the cables if necessary by fitting a junction box.
If it is the lower floor you may, depending on cable slack, be able to relocate it nearer the centre if the cables are coming in to the back of the fitting from the right hand side. You will need to explain more where it is situated and what is above the ceiling in the picture.

Its the lower floor, and dont really want to pull the carpet/floor boards up. There doesnt seem to be much slack in the wires. Was thinking more of extended the wires and putting in some trunking to hide the wires unless there is a better way of doing it?

That PVC cladding doesnt leave you with too many options.
Best to remove the cladding, extend all the wires and then put the cladding back.
Or take up the carpet/floor above.
It looks like you have a regular loop in set up so there will be three conductors x 3 cables = 9 connections in all to make. And those connections will have to be accessible unless you use MF connections or compression crimps.
You could put a white trunking junction box like THIS over the existing and run trunking to the new position, but that will look more cr@p than your existing set up.

Leave the ceiling rose where it is, replace the flex between the rose and the lamp holder with a longer flex and hang the lamp holder from a hook in the ceiling where you want the lamp to be.
Yep, and why not use black flex while you're at it.

lol - I guess you cant do much DIY with electrics due to all the regulations in place!!
Because Arctic yellow, or the orange stuff used for garden appliances, would look even better.
Looks like an angled battenholder, why not leave it as it is?
I think it would look better in the middle and i could fit a better light die to the space being available

I agree.
White 'Bell Wire' would sit nicely concealed in between those grooves.
