been doing some work on the gate (cladding a rought iron gate) with feather edge wood and rather pleased with the results it actually looks like a wooded gate, and the security and privicy is much improved question is as it has the extra weight i noticed when pulling the gate to the concrete...

i plan to mount some wood on it! was planning on mounting a bit of wood at the back and then rough sawn timber on the front ? was hoping to screw through it. any advise and help please ? thanks

they are timber its just a standard wood i just wanted to clad, i know its not the answer but it will save me painting the bloody thing! i just wasnt sure how to mount it to the side as the garage door would hit it ?

im not actually sure our new boiler can be converted to a new system, its a baxi main he boiler, that is 3 year old (condensing)

where would you put these air bottles please ? thanks, are you suggesting convering to sealed system as well??

its not a sealed system it has a vent tank in the roof, this is the plumbers latest suggestion to solve the on going problem...

checked that as well, all seems to be fine up there! not pumping over even been checked by a plumber and b/g heating eng. plumbers new suggestion is a air bottle ?? thoughts please.

yeah been flushed twice so should be pretty clean and added a inhibitor sp it will be having its year service soon will b.g pick up on this? also part of there homecare so guess ill only have to pay the first 50.00 should it have a problem :)

mainhe boiler (baxi) rumbling ticking noise from boiler when iburning, (starts approx 20 mins after being on) which seems to create a banging noise above (in bedroom) does stop straight away when boiler stops burning? any ideas please

thanks forr idea so far, i also thought about have a fire place in the bedroom to have an indep heat source obviously electric, the bedroom could get away with a modern one of these.
