Slope, slope step or step fence?

Cool thanks. The ground is pretty soft. On some research I was planning on putting a channel along bottom of fence with some pebble stones.. (6 inch wide or so) I have loads of these that I am getting rid off and are in the garden. Is it worth doing or a waste of time? There will be turf going...

Slope, slope step or step fence?

How do you acheive a consistant diagonal? Do you run a line at top of first board down to last top of last board on the run and go from there?

Slope, slope step or step fence?

Got a 11.7m run with a 1 in 10 slope. Looking at doing vertical boards with minimal gaps. Putting new posts in. Neighbour has feather edge board stepped. Not sure what is best looking to do. Stepped or slopped. And which is easier? Done a Sketchup for the stepped style. Other option is to go...

    Drainage for new patio

Could I just put the aco channel along the front of garage where large door is, and then use some sort of pipe at end to go under side door and patio over this and into garden?

    Drainage for new patio

Sorry for multiple threads, but I am trying to be a bit more specific now.. I want to add a patio section that goes out to meet garage side door. This would curve in. Then I would put 2 steps down or more into grass garden area. Removing all old flags and removing old patio to right completely...

How to remove/replace these for fence posts?

Hi reno, Yes original plan was to dig holes into the tarmac and concrete posts in. That still is the plan, just wanting to know how to remove these. I may keep existing posts for the 1m high section if too difficult to remove, and put rail inbetween posts and put vertical boards down the...

How to remove/replace these for fence posts?

How is the wood posts held in place? I don't see any screws or anything and they are solid, not moving. Some of them have concrete around them. Replacing these with something similar for 4x4s for a 4m long ish section at 2m H - would that be good or would they fail pretty easily?

How to remove/replace these for fence posts?

So I am almost 99% sure that the fence beside my driveway is actually mine. I presume it was neighbours because the good side was on their side. But looking at it more, I realise that it is actually on my land. Anyway I need to remove it and put better one in. Here is the fence in question...

    Replace old flagstones?

I am going to remove big chunk of patio. I am now thinking it might be worthwhile to remove all the flagstones and replace with nicer ones and then I am also thinking of extending it out to the garage side door and do a step down thing all along the edge of it. Just not sure if its possible and...

    Neighbours fence, sharing fence posts?

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Means there is kind of a no-mans land in between fences. Thanks. Now just gotta get rest cleared. Plenty to do before any fence installation!
