A cold roof is supposed to have ventilation to dry out condensation....BUT........surely if you fit vapour check plasterboard on the ceiling, there won't be any condensation therefore no need for ventilation or am I wrong?

My daughter is buying a 1930's house, it has an extension, PP was granted for this in 1967, the solicitor says 'Ooops there's no building regs sign off'. But there must have been a time when there was no such thing as building regs. Could the extension be pre building regs approval?

The multifinish left in the bucket was totally workable therefore no problems with date or tap water. I can't understand how the bonding could be sucking the moisture out of the multifinish

This morning I bought 2 bags of bonding n one multifinish from Selco. I smacked on the bonding, waited 2hrs n went over with the multi............jeez, the bonding sucked the life out of the multi..............had to spray the wall so I could keep the multi workable. What went wrong?........the...
