I have the above room stat but it doesn't show anything on the digital screen until the programmer tells the boiler to turn on. Is this meant to have a live feed for display power all the time? It's a Drayton L711 1 channel programmer is it makes any difference

It sounds as if the new path is too high and it may be above the DPC level which may lead to other problems with water getting above it. You should really think about lowering your path

Cheers, it's been like this for 13 years, but I have lagged up to the clips below the valves, but i'll add on the extra lagging tomorrow. The condensate pipe is now also lagged, going to lag the condensate discharge hose as well. Boiler is in the garage.

Just wondering if there's a set distance away from the boiler to stop the foam pipe lagging?

hi John, Thanks for your reply, i'll need to get a thermometer to try this. Just for more info. It's only my wife & I in the house, this temp difference can happen when no one else is using a tap. Example, me doing the washing up and my wife sitting at the dining room table.

When using the hot water there's times when you turn the hot tap on and the hot water is noticeably cooler than normal. Then you can use the hot water tap again 5 minutes later and it's back to normal. Boiler is a Greenstar 37CDi

Just papered my hall, drained the radiator and rehung after papering, just wondering if there's a rough drying time before I get use of the radiator. didn't want to crank the heating on and the paper shrinks

try to leave the last black connection on, but cut the bottom of it off so it can exit onto the main and hopefully keep the splashing at a minimum

would an anti syphon basin trap help? would maybe help with the gurgling sounds coming from the basin/bath
