Hi All.. My hot kitchen tap washer needs replacing.....easy job.....hmphh :x Removed the cap and tried to undo the gland nut.....while supporting the tap in every way possible...... :evil: The thing won't move......have tried lubricating (oooeerr) it with no movement whatsoever...

So, if i can get one of these connectors....it will work? :? All this malarky for some water outside....grr :x

Hi... i am installing a new security light with the cable running along the top of the outside wall to the into the fused connection unit inside. I have been advised to use Hituf cable(3 core) and thought that the size to use was 1.0mm, however i can't find any....only 1.5mm. :evil...

Sorry if i sounded confused...i was actually confusing myself when i read back what i wrote to you... So...The plug socket that leads from the fused connection unit can be removed and i can replace the existing wiring from the fcu with longer cable to fit through the drilled hole in the wall...

For my own sanity could you clarify this for me to see if i have it correct.... (i did do a little sketch for you to see but couldnt attach it) The Plug socket that i want to use for the new light which is connected to the fused connection box is okay to use???? So, once i drill through...

Forgot to ask..... the wiring problem sorted out ..... great.... however.... sitting comfortably???... hope the following makes sense... I have a spur from a power socket to a switched fused connection .... which was used for a now defunct appliance........however... this is a plug...
