No, doesn't seem lumpy, they're still dry. So is it only an issue if the ambient moisture has got to them and they've started to set? That's what I was wondering, because visually they seem fine.

Thank you all. I wish they would just say 'Do Not Spray' instead of "Application: brush only". I found that roller application, in some circumstances, is quick and consistent in terms of finish and coverage. But of course brushing is good too. At least I'm a bit more informed now. Cheers

yes agreed, I ended up using the brush almost exclusively since there is so much narrow beading and cutting in. However I couldn't see any actual problem with roller application in principle, so was wondering why the tin says "Application: brush only"?

4" roller. It's pretty good for the outer part or the frame and sills, but obviously not for the the rest. I fill in with a brush. I find it pretty smooth, and if you go over it again while it's drying gets good coverage. I'm not getting any bubbles either. I don't really understand the drawback...
