    Possibly a dud new battery .?? Phone Legend and see if they will send out another battery . When my original battery was goosed ,it made the fire do the whirring sound ,but did not have enough juice in it to kick start the fire to ignite stage . New battery in and it worked properly again ...

    Arghhh ,with you now freddiemercs ,yes I see . So put 50 mm between the rafters and then put more across the rafters ,which I can then put my plasterboards against and then screw through ,with the long screws ,into the woodwork . Fantastic . I certainly dont want to do a" Botch Up job "...

    Thanks Richard C . Some good links on there and definately learned how to do it correctly next time !!!!! Not sure which way I will go ,with my problem at the moment as the shower unit is through the tiles etc ,so it would mean ripping the whole lot out ,which would be a big job !!! Guess...
