    Patio Doors

Hi, I've searched but I mustn't be using the correct terms. We are having an extension done and some existing patio doors replaced. Costs are racking up quickly and we need to save some money. I'll be getting a quote from the builder from his usual windows guy but want to be informed. We...

    Two 2.99kw ovens

There is an existing 6mm feed which will be repurposed to the induction hob. Unfortunately, the two 2.99kw ovens are on the opposite wall so getting a dedicated feed to them from the CU will be a little painful.... hence me wondering if there is an issue with them both being on the downstairs...

    Do I need planning permission?

Ahh right. thanks for the clarification. I'm just wondering about it against my proposed rear extension which is 7.5m width 4m out on an original house of 12.5m width. Was getting worried I would not be in the permitted development rules but sounds like I'm fine width wise.

    Do I need planning permission?

Is that the case with it only being a single story extension? And also, does the width rule only apply to side extensions?

    Permitted Development and Drains

Morning All, I'm looking for a bit of advice from people who know much more than me please :). We are wanting to extend the house. Single story to the rear. I've drawn it out as per the picture. Originally we were also considering a 2 meter width single story side extension too but with...

Walk in shower - water under silicone joints

Hope the installers used backer boards and didn't tile onto plasterboard... it will be rotten soon if it is moist all the time.

    Dripping mixer tap

Edit: added another picture. Would prefer to buy a new insert, can anyone please advise which one it is? Hi, I’ve got a dripping hot side mixer tap. I assume I can fix it with a washer? Before I try to fix it and take it apart and maybe break it, any guidance on what the issue is, what to buy...
