When hanging a door, is a leading edge on the hinge side of the door a must or is it on a door by door basis? Every guide I can see on the internet does not mention planing a leading edge. What do you guys do?

The back & edges should be sealed with acrylic primer to prevent any moisture ingress. Ply is wood & wood is not dimensionally stable when exposed to moisture; if moisture gets in, the ply can curl & there go your tiles. You should not seal the top (tile) surface unless tanking & that’s only...
