Hi, I am going to get marble tiles in my hallway, but was wondering about the grouting. The tiles are sort of yellowy (don't even know the name of them, new wickes stock) Would it be necessary to grout between the tiles or leave a grouting space or should I ask for them to be butted up...

use a paint scraper or sandpaper to fix the edges, as for preventing it next time, cut in withou using masking tape but the masking tape slightly lower down on the wall and remove it immediately after painting

Red/black does not necessarily mean no earth! Are the cables plasticy? If there is no earth, then you can not use the fitting...

I'd say a 500w floodlight with PIR mounted HIGH up I think sombody said that before, but that is the best suggestion because of problems with switching CFLs on and off.
