before I left for work I isolated the boiler and when I got back the pressure has still dropped. I assume this means it is on the boiler itself?? Any suggestions

I have had plumbers in but as I have tiled floors nobody came up with a suggestion of how to find it and their suggested solution was leak sealer!!!

thanks. I have had this problem once before and added leak sealer which seemed to sort problem for about a year. Maybe I should try this again but just trying to rule anything else out first. It has dropped from 2 bar to about 1.5 in 2 days

thanks everyone. I have now had the aav replaced but am still losing pressure. All heating pipes are concealed under tiled or concrete floors. Any suggestions as to how I can go about trying to isolate where this could be?

I have a smiths space saver heater in the kitchen of my new house. I have switched it on and the fan comes on but it only seems to blow out cold air. The heating pipes connected to it are hot. Any suggestions as to what the problem could be please?

I have a central heating system with rads fitted with Caleffi TRVs on each radiator. The lounge and a couple of bedrooms do not get hot enough as the TRV's cut the rads off even though they are on setting 5. Is it possible to recalibrate these so they don't cut off at such a low...

Stingray, thanks for the reply. because I have quite a large system a previous engineer already added an additional expansion vessel to the system. Wouldn't this kick in or could both have failed at the same time?

I have a Ferroli 25c combi boiler. It normally starts at 1.5 bar and rises to 2 bar when running the central heating. Yesterday the pressure has risen to over 3 bar (the prv has not kicked in) and stayed there. The filling loop is definitely closed. What could cause this please?
