    Zone valve electrics

If what you mean being wrong is Heatmisers wiring centre I presume their thoughts are that identifying each of the zone valves five wires to the board means they can configure that board as they want but I ordered a new wiring centre based on orange being live and no pump running. Sent the board...

    Zone valve electrics

Just an update on the Heatmiser wiring centres. When the room stat demands heat through the board it powers the zone valve and the "orange" (boiler) terminal the zone switch "grey" terminal completes the circuit powering the pump. (I told Heatmiser they were rogues) Returning to a problem I...

plastering new stud wall to existing

Thanks Benny The "old" plasterwork isn't that old and is secure to the wall but I realise that it becomes a weak point for cracking. It's a pity I can't overlay the 1400 X 500mm stud with something other than plasterboard that wouldn't move that I could paint.

    Zone valve electrics

Htg circuit is UH3 wiring centre for UFH Had a problem with the pump not running when stat demands heat. The zone valve opened and I have power on the orange wire firing the boiler, at this point I didn't check the grey wire voltage as I presumed it was permanent live to one side of the aux...

My concern is when this stud is plastered how do I address the issue of cracking between new...

    house fan control

Thanks Lectrician So each of the wetroom switched lives would supply power to it's own non latching relay (in an enclosure) and the output of all the relays would give a common feed into the fan?

The original fan "Silavent triple vent" has three switched live connections at the fan, one from each wet room The Envirovent "Spider" has nine extract spigots and one to exhaust. The fan also has an additional three sw. live connections to the PCB but to gain access I have to go through the...
