Shower seat issue

Please advise, I have made seats in a shower enclosure (2nu seats each comprise three lengths of oroko supported between the tiled walls)
I oiled the timbers recently as they were looking dry and now have problems with "staining on the tiles"
I should have sealed the Oroko after oiling but didn't so what should I use to stop this problem

Properties of Iroko are generally similar to Teak, and are treated the same way with teak oil. Whether that is satisfactory in a wet situation is really up to you but I'd follow Foxy's sound advice and go for a composite - i.e synthetic or plastic material for what you need.
