    Dishwasher poor wash performance

Hi. Thanks for that info. As it happens, I have ended up stripping this down to dispose of it after buying a replacement. No blockages anywhere in the machine. I didn't check the heating element but there was plenty of steam coming out of it when opening the door at the end of the wash. Maybe...

    Dishwasher poor wash performance

Thanks for that..... I've already pulled the door open to check this, and to be honest, wasn't able to verify that the spray rotors are spinning as there was too much water going everywhere. Suppose that without this knowledge it's a case of trying the cleaner in it then ditching it if that...

    Dishwasher poor wash performance

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes tab drawer is working properly. Never heard of dishwasher cleaner, suppose it is available amongst the wash tablets at the supermarket? Also suppose that it should be used when the dishwasher contains no dishes?

Bosch Serie 8 Dryer Not Drying

Hi All Any domestic appliance gurus out there that can provide advice please? As stated, the dryer does not dry the clothes at all when any of the automatic cycles is selected. However, when selecting a timed cycle, the dryer seems to work fine. I have stripped the machine down and done the...

    Floor prep dilemma

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Yes I was unable to apply SLC in a flowable state for the reasons stated above. It is feathered actually, there are no fat edges on it. However, it is, as you can see, a bit of a patchwork. This is as good as it is going to get under the circumstances, I have...

    Floor prep dilemma

Hi all Essentially trying to get a feel for how good floor preparation needs to be. I'll try to describe the scenario below..... Small hallway in terraced house. From front entrance door the area is approx. 1m wide. This is full width of floor along its length. The floor is 2.6m long at which...

Help with adhesive for porcelain tiles

Hi. I'm tiling a floor. Using light coloured polished porcelain tiles. Being a DIYer, I am slow lol. For this reason I tend to steer clear of rapid set adhesives because I tend to get myself in a pickle as I can't keep up. Looking in the usual outlets, I can't seem to find a regular adhesive...

Anyone with knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic hoses?

I assume cutting rings are barbed rings that grip the tube when it tries to pull out of the fitting?

Anyone with knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic hoses?

Thanks very much. Having looked at the above, polyamide tubing is probably flexible enough, and probably cheaper. So more options to throw in the mix. I didn't realise that type of tubing was good for 80 bar. (y) Pirtek catalogue a mine of information as well mind you. :)

Anyone with knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic hoses?

I've looked at scuba equipment extensively. It seems that the first stage regulator reduces pressure down to a manageable figure of around 100 psi (from around 3000 psi). So I'm not so sure about going down this road. Obviously, happy to be corrected on the above though if anyone knows...

Anyone with knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic hoses?

Will explore this. Suppose it would be reasonably straight forward to use something like a male/male adaptor to convert hydraulic fitting to appropriate thread for pneumatic fitting that I need (such as NPT thread).

Anyone with knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic hoses?

Yeah that's about the right ball park...... Twenty quid an inch? Won't be using that then.

Anyone with knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic hoses?

Thanks. So are you saying that essentially this is feasible but is a specialist job?

Anyone with knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic hoses?

Respectfully, the reason I have asked for advice here is because I do not know what has or has not been done before. If I had the benefit of having that knowledge I wouldn't need to politely ask more knowledgeable people for helpful information. I am looking for a hose that is capable of...

Anyone with knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic hoses?

Thank you. So I guess they are happy with a pick up the phone and ask lots of questions kind of fair, right?
