    Repair drain - how please?

Hi HB, I now understand that this is a gulley. Water drains from the sink easily and the level in the gulley doesn’t change, and so I don’t think there’s a blockage. thanks for comment though. mutley56

    Repair drain - how please?

Dear all, I need to repair this, which drains the water from the kitchen sink and dishwasher. The horizontal section of pipe ? clay ? seems to be too short to deliver the water into the drain and there is a void underneath it. I think I need to remove the horizontal clay section and replace it...

Outdoor tap with occasional loss of water

tnx Terryplumb. No self cutting involved. Valve is compression fitting. I will ask our friendly plumber to replace the valve. disappointed in Peglar if it is the valve as I asked for a Peglar valve as this brand was recommended on here. Maybe a rogue valve

New windows sitting lower than window boards

For what it’s worth, we had a similar problem. Company admitted they measured up incorrectly. They offered a discount off the cost. I declined as I wanted the window needed to match they adjacent ones. So they removed it and replaced with a window that I wanted and had paid for. So my advice is...

Repair a small crack in GRP ? Roof

Repaired the crack easily enough. Potentially really messy stuff isn’t it. I’m reassured by the fibres in it and has set well and I’m sure is effectively a long term repair. Thanks for the advice.
