    Shower pump cable run

Would I be correct in thinking I can site a fused spur in the airing cupboard and run flex cable around to the pump, then worry about wiring up the spur later....

    Shower pump cable run

Hi guys, Been waiting endlessly for my mate the electrician to come around, and just cannot wait any longer! Got bare walls that need to be boarded up and have installed a shower pump underneath the bath. I need to get some cable in so I can at least start to board up again. What is...

    Simplest solution for plumbing shower

Thanks for the reply. Its 22mm out of the floor going into a watermill wasp. As I am intending to get a double ended bath with waste in the middle, pump is (hoping) to be at the same end. Controls for the Grohe 2000 are 1m off floor level. I did buy a number of screwfix tails, and one...

    Simplest solution for plumbing shower

I have a combination of connections, with my new shower pump etc. I am just trying to get my head around what the simplest way to connect it all up would be. I thought I could use flexible hoses, but I think it would require too many adapters and they are not long enough.... Anyway...

    Flexebile tap connectors

Thanks for that, its much appreciated... For me I am running a single flexible pipe to my tarantofill waste filler, so its one flexible hose rather than four 90° bends.....seems a no brainer to me... Mark

    Flexebile tap connectors

I don't think I will have any issues with flow as its a pump I am plumbing up from/to... I think it implied above that heat may warp rubber.....rather than it actually failing? Mark

    Flexebile tap connectors

I am glad I have just seen this as I was about to go and buy some flexible tails tomorrow..... How long do they take to break down? Seems like crap if they break down that easily...

    Birds in loft

Sorry for bringing up this thread, but I have the same problem, but is pretty much the whole year around..... There is no obvious holes from the front or lost tiles, it is more a case of them getting in from the tiny gaps between the last tile and the fascia... I went up and tried to plod...

    Shower pump location / type

Anyone? Seems like there is 200mm clearance under the bath (enough for the pump). and with no taps at that end clearance for the pipes...

    Shower pump location / type

Remember also that I have a tarantofill as well, so no taps....I think there is enough space at the other end? :P

    Shower pump location / type

Hmmm, that will be a right PITA for me. Maybe get a double ended bath with the waste in the middle? Would that give me enough room at that end...?

    Shower pump location / type

I ordered this one: http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/1655-14563 Seems OK I guess... Still sceptical about being enough space at the waste end.....

    Shower pump location / type

Another silly question. Can I use flexible hosing to pipe most of this in? Just thinking of the location of the pump under the bath, and the fact I havent decided or ordered a bath yet..... Would hate to have it all fitted and not left myself enough room. Just thinking that it might be...

    Shower pump location / type

Any suggestions on pump make? I did use a screwfix jobbie before on the ensuite shower.....but man that is noisy... :? Its exclusively for the shower/tarantofill so doesnt need to be massive pressure.

    Shower pump location / type

Cheers for that. And can I just go pipes to pump, pump to grohe 2000, no special valves or nothing? (sorry if that sounds dumb, just reading too many threads on here...)

    Shower pump location / type

Hi there, Just ripped out my bathroom, and have two 22mm (I guess) pipes from the hot and cold side of the bath. Now, it's a gravity fed system, and I purchased a Grohe 2000 shower as it stated that it would work on a LP system. But I also got the Tarantofill kit which quote that it is HP...

    Baxi Solo 2 PF

So it arrived next day as advertised..and apart from a couple of rusty screws which needed a bit of TLC (and WD40), it was back in action half an hour later.... Many thanks everyone for all your help! Lets hope it continues for another ten years! Cheers, Mark

Chasing for wall mount bath taps

As I understand it the Grohe 2000 will work on gravity systems OK, but when looking at the talentofill it says HP only.... Can anyone say if this filler will work on a gravity system?
