Cheers. Situation is the other way around. There are no existing tamper cables, just two cables for the old contact so just checking that the reed's would work with just the 2 cables.

I would like to replace previous flush door contacts with reed type due to extention. Previous contacts only had 2 wires connected no tamper. Can I just connect the two wires to the reed and ignore the tamper connections? What is the best way to attach these to aluminium doors?
