I would like to position Texecom PIR sensor in a 6m x 6m room. In the manual there is an illustration of heights and seem to be max of 2m high, have I understood this correctly? Our ceilings are about 2.8m high.

Most Texecom PIRs say 3M the petwise say less.

also some are marked up for the height fitted, in increments

Given the number PIRs Texecom make the model name will help confirm installation details

The instructions that came with my Texecom PIR say between 1.5m and 3m on the little gauge with varying cover at each height.

QT????? or QD (don't think I know of a QT detector by Texecom)

ceilings are supposed to be 8ft (2.44M?) off the floor minimum the older the house the higher the ceiling with a few exceptions like cottages for example.

There is AMDQD, ELITE QD, 360 variants also all of which have 3M as the max height from memory.
