How to stop mono-block basin tap turning

I have a mono-block basin tap and it tightens up using one of those "for want of a better description" horseshoe brass washers. The problem is if you tighten the nut up to much on this brass washer it just bends. Is there anything available i can use instead or in conjunction with this washer.

Having probs in copying data onto CD-RWs

What you want to do requires a technique called packet writing, i believe. This is supported by nero. There is also another system to do the same thing but i cant remember its name. As far as i know windows burning software doesnt support this form of writing to cd-rw,s. I would go the nero route.

    Double glazed door locks

I can see the problems with these doors locking systems, what with them being reliant on the handle having to be raised to engage the locking bolts. Im not impressed with the security of these doors either but a hardwood door is not an option at the moment. So tell me more about this you...

    Double glazed door locks

Has anyone come across replacement locks for double glazed doors that work similar to the old Yale type. So that when you close the door it locks without having to use the key. and if you dont want it to lock you can put the snip on. It seems strange to me that in these times of increased crime...
