yeh its where it meets the step but the step is pretty rotten and is due replacement really so may as well do that as well. thanks.

ok next question when attaching the wood to the beam that i put on the house how do i cut an angle into the wood so it leans a little to get water off ? or will the weight of the wood do that for me.

yes thats it, it's only a small area across the wall a beam will go 6ft 7 across and rafters will go out 4ft onto goal post type arrangement.

thanks for suggestion but would that not look untidy ? i would prefer to dig a square and cement the slab down out of view and bolt the post to it and then cover it back over with the decorative stones i have.

Yeh sorry be good to say what for, its going to be for a veranda a bit of shelter from the rain approx 6ft 7 by 4ft space.

Just to mention if i plug the microwave into that same socket that trips the dishwasher it works fine, seems it only trips under high load due to the dishwasher.

Job done, brilliant work and the boiler is brilliant great heat and water.

They offered me this Vaillant Pure (no model name presumably the cheapest), with a filter on your system for protection in future, the radiators flushed out, new wireless room thermostat/timer including labour £2200. I doubt they would have done any flushing probably would have just fitted it...

Is it normal to be a harassed by a company for a new boiler ? the 2 guys that diagnosed my issue charged me £65 and it was obvious they wanted me to buy a new boiler and suggested that i talk to their finance company at a cost of £2200 for replacement ok so i agreed see what the crack is, but...
