Door too short help

Hello,

I've just replaced my back door, the width is fine the height is about 5 to 10mill too short and it's left a gap at the bottom not sure how to tackle this ?

advice please.

So is there a gap top and bottom?
Or just bottom?

A decent rubber seal might be a fix.
A local supplier to me sells various strips similar to car door seals, like P-D or E shapes

just the bottom about an inch.

Wow. An inch is a LOT
Maybe find some hardwood to make the difference up

yeh its where it meets the step but the step is pretty rotten and is due replacement really so may as well do that as well. thanks.

I would buy a new door threshold and fit a suitable piece of hardwood under the threshold to close the gap.

If done properly I doubt it would show to the outside world.
