    Changing Copper Olive on TRV

    Have a slight leak at the bottom of the TRV compression fitting (see picture) after removing radiator for decorating. Assume I need to replace the olive. Do I turn the bottom compression nut left or right to get to the olive? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

    Gaps in wooden floor

    I'm trying to fill in gaps of my bedroom floor so I can sand and re-varnish - floor is birch and hasn't been touched in 25yrs.
