Thanks for the reply. The windows are not hitting the bottom, I just noticed they were broken & thought I best get them replaced. I am not sure on the manufacturer, is it usually stamped anywhere I can look/check? Regards

I was going to fit the self cutting value & then use a tap to 15mm connection to run the pipework I need. The only other method I was think of using was the pipe freezing kits but I only have approx. 6" of pipe tp play with?
