Poor picture but ive removed the 32 amp from the right hand side and the unit has 2 RCD trips in it.

I have a small stand alone hotpoint cooker which according to the label on the back is rated at 933 - 10.15kw. It is currently connected to a 40 amp fuse in the consumer unit. Would it be ok to reconnect it to my spare 32 amp fuse in the consumer unit in order to free up the 40 amp fuse to...

someone mentioned that when the plastic pipes get hot they are prone to burst the joint off so its advisable to fit inserts into the pipes to strengthen them. Does this mean the cold water system doesn't need inserts?

Ive been able to find the circular white junction boxes in 30 amp form. Does anyone know if they do a 40 amp version or can reccomend another type of junction box to enable 40 amp connections

How do I tell if its an old board? The only form of ID I can find is Cat No NSSTM5404-899 The MCBs are all marked NSB Type 2 If 40 amp is the max this board will take would that be enough for a 8.5kw shower? And where could I get one?

So I can simply push a peice of copper pipe into the end of a speedfit connecter it it will be as good a joint as shoving the plastic pipe in?
