Thanks for that Burnerman, it makes sense, it has been to the Garage, and the Diesel filter was changed, but not fitted correctly, consequently there was Diesel spillage all over the Engine. This car was fine before the service, so probably the diesel spillage caused the problem. Many Thanks

Got a problem with this car which beggers all belief. It starts and ticks over but when you press accelerator nothing happens!! no revs. Switch engine off, press accelerator to the floor, switch engine back on and car runs as it should do, now also put £20 worth of diesel in and dash comes...

Cut yer losses and fit a new Burner to the Boiler with a 2 year warrenty. Sorted :wink:

No John its not the exhaust, its an interior audible noise that comes on for a split second and then goes off, mite be telling me it needs a service

If the bottom of the Oil tank is higher than the Burner, then you should have no problems. Just to add, only one pipe is laid from tank to boiler, after that you use a tiger loop to feed boiler with 2 pipes if the tank is below boiler. Get the Guy whos gonna commission it, he will tell you...

Its all to do with centrifugal retraction based on the ions thru the process of rectumfication. hope that helps your understanding a bit better.

You need a small length of soil pipe connect to your existing soil pipe to potrude thru the tiles and then connect your flexi to that . seemples

I would suggest that you've got a blockage on the Heating side pipework, Don't lob a new cylinder in until last resort.

Your Engineer is correct its called ingestion, leaving the case off just allows more oxygen to the Burner, wont hurt the boiler but wont be as efficient.

Not only insured but are you a skilled Plumber?, sounds to me like a wannabe Diyer. If so, you shouldn't be charging Tradesmen rates. Stick to tap washers if I were you.
