    Hi, Can the building inspector insist that the old wiring of a house needs to be rewired because the Installation Cert. states 'needs upgrading' on the comments section. The Inst. Cert. was given after an additional CU and circuits were installed for extension work done on the house. Thanks

    Low pressure on incomming water mains

    The mains from the outside stop tap looks like 1/2" steel which enters the property then it is a 15mm copper to the kitchen. I'm not sure if the steel pipe is 1/2" or 3/4" as I cannot see it clearly. Any ideas on how to get good pressure? Tilla Tech

    Hi, Is it allowed to have a metal cased fluorescent light with out connecting the earth connection on the connecting block, the lighting circuit has no Earth wire. The council came to inspect it (PART P) and passed it. Is it allowed under any circumstances. Thanks

    Why should we use 10mm T&E for shower cable when the wire going from the terminal block to the heating coil in the shower otself is only around 5mm conductor?
