Pebble mosaic flooring

Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to have a pebble mosaic flooring using your own pebbles and then setting them in the adhesive. I know that you can get pebble mosaic tiles but i want my own design and save some money.

I suppose you could do it,you would be best to use standard set adhesive to give you time to work and the pebbles couldn't be too deep in size,very time consuming possibly best to dry lay the design first and perhaps number the pebbles if their not too small

im sure i wouldnt mind doing a day rate on this job
