Hi, I need to cut 2 holes in a bathroom tile to accommodate shower pipes. I have a tile cutter and an electric tile saw but is there an easier way, i.e. using a hole saw on an electric drill? cheers

but that could mean that in the corners of the wall there is 1 inch of tile on one wall and 3 inches on the other. I thought it was supposed to flow around the room as one!?

Hi all, just about to buy some Drain Cocks when I noticed they are sold as either type A Heavy Pattern and type B Light. whats the difference and where would you use them individually. Mine are to be used just for 15mm pipe on a shower. For the sake of the 25p difference in price between them...

couldnt find a socket deep enough. the threaded bolt was far too long, and I didnt want to saw it off as most of these nuts they provide are cheap and nasty and would probably cause it to damage the thread!

Last week I had to replace a set of kitchen monobloc taps with the 2 15mm down pipes and the 11mm locking nut. no matter what tool I tried, there was no space to rotate the nut to bolt the tap to the sink. eventually, I resorted to removing the waste, and lifting out the sink completely...
