    Hi No it did not craze, and looks good even if i say so myself, the hardest bit comes next and that's skimming the hall wall, as its full height, i know i need to PVA over the original paint, will also use very rough sandpaper on the wall first as its been painted with vinal silk.....

    Paste the wall, wall paper?

    Thanks for your replies I guess i wont bother in future, wetting the paper is just as much hassle as pasting the paper in the first place..... what are the advantages of pasting the wall rather than the paper if the paper needs wetting first? :?

    I brought some wall paper that is embossed and paintable from Homebase, it says that it is paste the wall paper, great i though that makes life a lot esier, no need to get the pasting table out etc. So i proceeded to paste the wall and hang the first length, by the time i had pasted the wall...

    Is'nt the title "Shed Roof" If its a shed roof you dont need three layers of felt, its just one layer with a good overlap, and in the past the sheds i have had either had ship lap or just boards that provide a solid base for the felt, OSD will do the job :)

    I had a load of old sealant left on the bath after removing a shower screen, you can get sealant remover at the likes of B&Q etc, it comes in a small tube about half the size of silicon itself, you just squeeze it on then leave for a while, makes the old sealant go soft and just rubs off...

    Here are a few pictures of the project, The first job was to cut away the hedge at the rear of the garden, which unearthed this massive root ball from a previous tree, it took me ages to dig it out, but was far to heavy to move. Concrete fence posts, installed, on the neighbours...
