Thanks, It has been oiled 6 times over the past 2 weeks but I won't be able to ensure a tenant cars for it properly. It is just a small section that I fitted to cover where there was a gap. It has hot rods on it to prevent burns and we want to discourage it being used as a chopping board...

The machine came with a property we are refurbing and had clearly been leaking for some time. Once removed the area behind was saturated, however due to the floor being tiled up to the plinth and the floor behind being lower, there was no water obvious in the room. It's a pretty poor diy job...

The machine appears to be leaking at the rear from a plate with electrical connections, attached to the outer drum. Is this an easy fix, worth repairing? Suspect it is a gasket fail for heating element. Model is WM12X
