I need to replace one set of hinges. The ones I have are slimline and are 4 bar ones. I have found some slimline hinges but they are 6 bar ones and have 1 less fixing hole. Will these hinges be ok, and would it matter if I only used 2 instead of the 3 screws, on the actual window bit, not the frame?

i don't know if this is of any relevance but the pipe that comes out of the prv is quite hot when the boiler is heating water, would this indicate that the pvr hasn't closed properly? could it also be the expansion vessel, or would there be different symptons, as the hot water and heating works...

are the colder radiators furthest away from your boiler? if so, try reducing the amount of water going into the rads closest to the boiler and turn the ones that are cold right up. the rads should all have taps that do this, they might have a little plus and minus on the top of them, not like...
