Solved Grant Vortex Pro kitchen utility oil connection prob

That is what I was worried about, that the engineer was a numpty. From your response I gather oil in is in the wrong port. Am I right. There was a great problem at the time it was tested to get the levels right as one was at the limit of its adjustment so he phoned Grant Technical to give...

Solved Grant Vortex Pro kitchen utility oil connection prob

Hello I have a Grant Vortex Pro kitchen utility 16kw oil boiler and would like to know which port the oil inlet should be connected to. The diagram shows an inlet port and a return port. The system uses only one pipe but the oil inlet seems to be connected to the return port and the suction...

s-plan diagram for mo mo valves

I see your point. I have two mo-mo valves, one for dhw and the other for c.heating. Does that improve things. Each mo-mo has its own channel from the timer and the switch in each mo-mo goes to its own thermostat and from there to the relay which switches on the pump and boiler. Much easier if...

s-plan diagram for mo mo valves

If I operate the valve directly from the timer it would stay open when called for. The boiler would be controlled from the relay and I could take the output from the mo-mo valves internal switch, through the thermostat to control the relay. Would that be alright.

s-plan diagram for mo mo valves

All s-plans I have so far seen have output from timer going in to room stat and then in to mo-mo valve. Thats fine and mo-mo operates. But when the thermostat opens the mo-mo closes and has to operate again as soon as the thermostat closes. Thats alot of operations of an already maybe weak...

s-plan diagram for mo mo valves

Yes I do mean motor open motor close and any plan would be appreciated that uses a 2 channel timer, one channelfor heating and one for hot water both with thermostats. The system is working but I am going round in circles with the mo-mos.

s-plan diagram for mo mo valves

Hello Can anyone help me with an s-plan diagram using sunvic szm1801 mo mo valves. I have s-plans for spring return valves v4043h but cant find one for mo mo and there seems to be some difference. I have a conversion chart for replacing sm type actuator with szm but cant find an s-plan for sm...

How can I control temperature of bathroom.

Timer is not on rad. Timer controls when the rad can take heat i.e. when the boiler is to be on.

How can I control temperature of bathroom.

Yes I do often jumble my words. No valve on the bathroom rad just a timer The main heating and the HW are both behind valves. If they are both closed then the bathroom rad can call on the boiler for heat. It has its own timer. Any call for heat from CH or HW will also heat bathroom rad and it...

How can I control temperature of bathroom.

No the bathroom thermostat just doesnt call on the boiler for heat. The house heating and the hot water can each independently call for heat through valves and timers. The bathroom is the same and has a valve and timer.

How can I control temperature of bathroom.

Hello How can I cheaply fit a room stat (no wireless or programed) in a bathroom where all is in zone 1. I dont want to use a rad valve as the radiator is used as a dump for the rest of the system and it can be used on its own. Any ideas. Thanks thyristor44

Replacing Rayburn with Condensing boiler problem

Solid fuel is out, had one before and too much stoking and very dirty. The oil boiler is nearest but minimum size seems to be 15/20 kw. How efficient would it be to run and only run one radiator and the towel rail to replace the heat given out by the Rayburn in the kitchen. I dont want to...

Replacing Rayburn with Condensing boiler problem

Hello The vaporizing burner Rayburn is getting too expensive to run so its time to be drastic. The Rayburn does the cooking and a gravity fed towel rail in the bathroom and some hot water. We have a bottled gas hob and a fan oven and off peak water and storage heaters. Some of the problems...
